Additional Needs

Some children will find it helpful to keep to a regular routine each day, as far as possible.

You can make a simple visual timetable for your child if you think this will be helpful. Just simply draw or print off some pictures that represent different things they will be doing, and use these throughout the day to say what they will be doing next. Include mealtimes, bath-time and bedtime.

The website are offering free membership to parents during the time of school closure and have lots of resources for visual timetables, use the search tool on the website to find them. Especially useful if you need different pictures to those on this webpage.

On this tab is also a Social Story that you might want to use with your child if they are staying at home. Just print off the pages and turn it into a book that you can look at together.
