We all welcome you to Honey Pot class which is part of the school’s specialist provision for children with hearing impairments. In our classroom children with hearing impairments come to learn together for part of the school day, when they are not in their mainstream classroom. We also use our classroom for hearing impaired children and their hearing peers to learn together in small groups.
In our class this year we have Miss Hoppitt who is a full time Teacher of the Deaf and Miss Babbs.
We have a great Specialist Learning Support Staff who are highly experienced and very helpful. This year our Specialist Learning Support Staff are Mrs Nepean and Mrs Lawrie who work full time and Mrs Singer who works part time.
Miss Hoppitt or one of the Specialist Learning Support Staff always support the hearing impaired children when they are in their mainstream class.
To find out what your child is learning each term or when their P.E. or library days are please visit their class page.
